Details guests usually check before booking
Most Ziro stay seekers compare meals, washrooms, transfers, festival passes, permits and local support. Northeast Basecamp keeps those decisions visible before you submit a request.
Ziro Festival 2026 runs 24-27 September at the Ziro Festival ground in Biiri, Ziro. Stay-only guests can request 1-5 nights; route options are 5N/6D Ex Guwahati and 4N/5D Ex Naharlagun.
Breakfast is included with every occupied stay night. Add dinner for INR 400 per guest per night; the booking total and invoice update automatically.
Ziro festival entry passes are not included by default. This is clearly separated so guests do not confuse campsite booking with festival ticket access.
Guests should carry valid ID. Basic ILP documentation support is included in transport packages, and stay-only guests can request guidance.
Choose stay-only if you are arranging your own arrival. Guwahati is a longer road journey; Naharlagun is the nearest rail gateway and has a shorter 4N/5D route option.
Ziro is an outdoor valley festival. Expect rain, cool evenings, muddy patches and hill-town infrastructure that differs from a city stay. Pack a rain layer, warm layer and shoes you can walk in.

What are the Ziro Festival 2026 dates?
The festival is scheduled for 24-27 September 2026 at Ziro Festival ground, Biiri. Festival schedules and artist announcements remain controlled by the official festival team.
Is the Ziro Festival pass included in my campsite package?
No. Festival admission is separate unless an add-on is confirmed in writing. This keeps your campsite rate transparent and avoids confusing a stay booking with a festival ticket.
What is included with every tent stay?
Your allocated tent category, clean bedding, daily breakfast for occupied stay nights, concrete shared washrooms cleaned three times daily, basic charging access, check-in support and campsite guidance are included.
What is not included in the listed rate?
Festival passes, travel to the pickup point, lunch, dinner, alcohol, personal purchases, travel insurance, activity entry fees and costs caused by weather or route disruption are excluded unless specifically added.
Can I book only one night?
Yes. Stay-only tent packages can be requested from one night, subject to availability. Pick your arrival date and number of nights in the booking form.
How is the Ex Guwahati route different from Ex Naharlagun?
The Ex Guwahati package is a 5N/6D road journey because the approach takes a full travel day. The Ex Naharlagun package is a shorter 4N/5D option designed for guests arriving by rail or through the Itanagar-Naharlagun gateway.
Are transfers and local sightseeing included?
Selected route packages include the stated return transfer, vehicle operating costs and local movement as per the final operating plan. Stay-only bookings can request pickup, drop and sightseeing as paid add-ons.
Will you help with an Inner Line Permit (ILP)?
We provide basic documentation guidance for route-package guests. Every traveller remains responsible for securing valid permits and carrying their own government-issued photo ID.
What are the washrooms and electricity like?
Guests use clean concrete shared washrooms on a three-times-daily cleaning schedule, plus designated charging points. This is a managed outdoor campsite, so please expect practical festival facilities rather than hotel-style private bathrooms or uninterrupted room power.
Can I include dinner with my booking?
Yes. Select dinner in the booking form to add INR 400 per guest per night. Your total is calculated before submission and included on the invoice.
What should I pack for Ziro in late September?
Bring a rain layer, warm layer, torch, refillable bottle, power bank, sturdy walking shoes, personal medication and a small day bag. Conditions can change quickly in an outdoor valley festival.
How does the booking request work?

Can my plan change if weather, roads or the festival schedule changes?
Yes. Mountain travel and festival operations can shift due to weather, road conditions, permits or local instructions. We communicate changes and adjust the operating plan where reasonably possible.
